This would make for an exciting fight. However, I view it as a very bad fight for young Klitschko. High risk, low reward. He won't get much credit for beating this version of Tua, but he has the potential to get stretched out.
Not going to happen, sorry. And saying that Tua doesn't have a defense is silly, he's very rarely tagged cleanly. Wlad is going to be on his bike throwing jab after jab after jab against Tua, he would know what he's up against.
Tua needs some big knockouts in the US so people see his form - thus raising the odds of a belt fight.
I cant see Tua winning this one, not at this stage. Yeah he has the punch, but thats about it imo. Peter had the punch also, and he still lost to Wlad.
Not that I think it is all cut and dried at all. But there is a chance. One good shot to the head.......
And just exactly where do Tua's feet have to be planted to land that left hook? What about the different arc of that hook because this guy is taller and fights tall? It would help his chances if he didn't have greek columns for legs. And if he had the ability and balance to punch while moving his feet. Some Jack Dempsey legs. And just who holds Friday in all that high of esteem anyway? He's another guy right there to be hit. A ko2 would've been a nice result to make a case for Tua, but a 12 round decision? He should go after Haye and better yet, sign any contract and have the bout take place in New Zealand. See if Haye can be a road warrior and win.
And since Haye does not want Wlad - and since Tua's WBO ranking is seemingly going to 2 shortly - Wlad says he will "fight others" Could it be TUA ??
What about Tua v Sam Peter on Vitali v Sosnowski undercard? Both Tua and Peter are on the comback trail and would be good for both fights as far as WBC rankings go. The fight is at the end of May so plenty of time to be ready. Both have fought recently and are in good shape. Also how the hell is Vitali going to sell his fight otherwise? Both brothers are pretty boring as far as I am concerned. I can't see a Klitschko ever breaking into the American PPV market in any meaningful way on their own. People I am sure will pay to see a couple of big bangers in Tua v Peter though. It's like watching a train wreck. Hard to look away. It would also get Vitali more exposure in the US.
