Tua from the Ibeabuchi fight, and Toney from the Holyfield fight?
Does Toney counter and frustrate Tua,or Tua catches and fiinish him?

Tua wins, people make Tua out to be a terrible boxer, he's not, he's short without much reach and gets outjabed at times against Toney we have two 5'9 HWs. Tua being a beast at HW I see him just being too much for Toney

You can see in his last fight Tua has skills

That Tua is probably too busy for any Toney. The lazy Tua easily gets outboxed.

Few people can beat JT on the inside.

Tua is not one of them.

Friday hasnt been a real fighter longer than Tua. Hes been a professional sparring partner for the last decade. He was basically in that fight to survive and give Tua some rounds. Tua is stepping up nicely though, Barret should be a good challenge, and then maybe he can get a mandatory shot eventually because noone is going to take Tua as an involuntary defense, unless HBO pushes for it and the Klits want to get back on US TV. Forget about Haye, hes only looking to make easy money and he can face no namers in the UK and fill the arenas.

If anything Monte Barrett is probably a step down from Friday Ahunanya. Certainly not a step up anyway.

If Tua doesn't have a disadvantage in size and reach, he would be tough to beat. Toney could take Holyfield's punches, I doubt he can take Tua's.

I can see your point in the way of getting rounds in, but Barrett is a better fighter who will try to put himself in a better position to win.

This. Toney could also win on the outside here.

If Toney can stay away from the left hook then he wins a comfortable decision.

Tua has actually become overrated h2h. It pains me to say this because I am a Tua fan. I just can't stand it when he gets picked to blast away Joe Frazier, Mike Tyson, Jack Dempsey and Rocky Marciano. I don't think Tua is capable of beating any ATG fighters.

I agree. There was a thread on Tua vs Frazier and I picked Frazier and said he would win easier than most thought. I also Tua was overrated and got a bit blasted for it haha.

You don't see Barrett being blasted out early then?

Its pretty easy to go rounds with Tua just by keeping your righthand high and flicking a mediocre jab. Barrett should go a few rounds and possibly offer better offense than Friday.
