Tua fighting a guy 2 heads bigger and 50+ lbs heavier than himself, was originally supposed to fight Wach, but picked Ustinov

will Ustinov stop the aged Tua? :think

Tua is BEYOND shot. I think Ustinov will win this, possibly by KO. Didn't Ustinov beat Barrett?

KO machine Ustinov by brutal KO around the mid rounds becoming the first man to stop Tua. This certainly is an intriguing fight, I'll be watching.

This might be decent in 3x fast-forward.

Ustinov is big but pretty average, from what I've seen.

Tua by stoppage. His power will rear its head at some point, hurting the giant.

Ustinov is awfully tough. His stoppage loss to Pulev was more due to exhaustion and discouragement than anything else. I doubt Tua's sporadic offense will be enough to deposit him on the canvas. Tua couldn't stop Demetrice King after all, and he certainly hasn't improved in the two years since that fight.

Tua when fit and motivated is a different man. He has been training long and hard - and faces a Ranked opponent. He will bring the POWER. Watch and see.

Ustinov is complete Euro white trash. Ustinov lost to feather fist Pulev for god sakes. Very easy first round KO for Tua

For Tua this really means something

He has to be serious to agree to an opponent like this

For years he seemed to drift and lose momentum

    Maybe one last run?

    ffs Tua, retire

He could win by knock-out, but look at some of the guys he has failed to KO or who have gone deep with him in, oh, the last decade or so. It's been years since you could guarantee that Tua's offence would amount to much even against limited opposition.

Tua previously had "one last run" from 2005-2007, either side of 2x 2 year lay-offs. He was calling it his "Tua of duty" and was apparently very serious then as well.

Then he had another "one last run" from 2009-2011 which started with a crushing victory over Shane Cameron and ended with him failing to win either of 2 fights against a decrepit Monte Barrett.

The guy has been inactive for 6 of the last 10 years and has not looked good even when genuinely trying to make comebacks. I just don't think it is physically possible for the 40 year old version to be better than the 32-34 or 36-38 year old version.
