    Yeah hes not as springy like, its like how the Polynesian rugby players can put the big sidestep on but then when they get older they just take the direct route lol

    No sweat guys, that story ran last night (24th) over here.

    Tua looks in good shape to me. I think any weight figure misrepresents Tuas condition coz he has such big legs. 235-245lb is good i feel. Parore and Bloodworth have him in a good place

    Bigcat, your boy Luis Tapia is really running his mouth over here in NZ, similar to what Barry did for/to Tua back in the day. Sure hope Friday can back up Tapia. Hopefully, it'll help the promoter, Mr Higgins sell out Waitakere Trust Stadium.

    Luis seems like a pretty cool dude though, its his job and he has a sense of humour, I like in that 60 Minutes clip Jear posted how Friday has the local Nigerians all dancing and chanting while he spars, pretty cool, reminds me of When We Were Kings lol

    I think this might be a bit like Tua fight with Izon years ago where he stops him late, if he blows away Friday in the early rounds Ill be very impressed

    Luis is a lovely guy actually, he wanted me to show up and surprise Friday, but i honestly can't make this fight.. Luis is very loyal and if he is in your corner he will turn against his own mother in your favour.. ha ha ha ...

    Luis is a great guy too talk in your favour on TV.. he appears arrogant but he would give you the shirt off his back.. One thing you may not know about Luis , is that until this year he still sparred dozens of rounds a day with many of his fighters.. he is unbelievably capable inside the ropes... He and Layla sparred like they were in domestic war.. i used to have to jump in there to seperate that ****......... His favorite trick was getting into the cinema for free in Las Vegas.. it is funny as hell, he is a genius at it, we have watched hundreds of movies in Vegas at the palms without spending a dime..

    He is one of the best hustlers i ever met in all my years in Boxing..

    You must be getting a bit nervous for your guy Bigcat....all the garbage about Tua not being focused and in shape are obviously wrong.

    It's going to be an exciting fight....Tua is going to be explosive....I know Friday is as tough as nails but it could be hard going for Friday to get through the first 4 rounds without getting hurt.

    I hate this title thread....the fight never gets any closer :lol:

    Bigcat, isn't Layla, Luis' girlfriend? I thought she was going to be on the undercard, but apparently not.

    I've been to Chile, and love the Chileans. Now tell how he got into the cinemas in Vegas for free?

    Layla is indeed putting on a show in NZ against a local girl, She is indeed Luis partner, she and Luis are great fun, I literally live with them when i am in Vegas, its fun when the fights are on TV, we always go to thier house and everyone shows up , Sam Peter, Friday, Luis , Layla, all the other guys from the gym that train with us, Teke Oruh... past promoters too, (Frank Luca) Bronco Billy Wright.. heavyweight Luis Managed.. its mayhem..... I remember when Sammy boxed Wlad Klitschko, we all watched at Luis house , and placed bets amongst ourselves.. It was a great night.. Getting the plane back from Atlanta was a very hard one, after Friday had Ibragimov dead and cut , and lost via a technical dec due to a head butt.. all the hard work was lost because Friday didn't finish Ibragimov off after he was down.. Ibragimov won the world title later that year......

    No, because we have never ever seen Friday hurt or knocked over as an amateur or pro...

    we don't mind guys who rely on power because its useless against Friday... Tua will soon be looking for a plan B........ I just hope he has one.. LOL..
