I can compare myself to Byrd if I ****in' feel like it, genius. I have two eyes and one nose. So does he. He has ten toes. So do I. Are you getting it yet ? I was answering a poster who said that Adamek didn't have enough power to keep Tua off him. And in replying, pointed out (implicitly) that Adamak had more power than Byrd. I was commenting on their relative POWER, not overall skill or slickness. No need to get your knickers in a knot.
On the other hand, please dont compare Byrd to a prime monster Adamek. Adamek is on the proper way to become the 3rd division champ, starting from LHW.
Samoan power will be too much for Adamek, too much.So there's only one chance Adamek can win hit and runnnnnnnn.Adam doesn't run he goes nowhere but down.
Tua will take almost anything Adamek has and give back twice the power in return. Tua's nemesis is a big tall HW who can keep him away. Not a small guy lacking decent HW power. Adamek is a great fighter, he fights almost anyone they put in front of him, but unless this is for a HUGE paycheck, he should stay away.
I disagree. It does not take an especially big fighter to keep Tua at bay, it takes a decent jab and good movement.
You've yourself identified though, Rum, that there are two Tuas. There's the pattern-plodder who gets flabbergaster by a decent jab and good movement, and then there's the Tysonesque machine we saw a few weeks back (referring to his complete performance...stalking with his head bobbing out of the way of Cameron's jab, and then once a ***** in the armor was found sheer explosivity with speed and power that you just can't deal with by flicking out a jab...or any punch for that matter, given Tua's beard). Of course Adamek can handle the former Tua, but what of the latter? :think In that moment, where David explodes - how does Tomasz cope? Moving away? He's not the fastest and most elusive guy on his feet - Golota made him look like a ballerina but he really isn't. And a Tua as determined and bloodthirsty as the one we saw is like a Great White shark. If you're in the water, you're ****ed. He's catching up with you. So what else? Jab him in the face as he comes in? Did Tua look like anybody's jab (even Wlad's, who I'm sure has a more stinging one than Adamek's...in fact they're quite similar, one guy's simply a bigger and stronger version in that department) would discourage him from firing off those brutal volleys? Counter with some other (power) punch? In the time it takes to telegraph (Adamek has good combination handspeed, but I wouldn't say faster than Tua hitting his stride when he finished off Cameron) you'll be snoozing. I really don't see how Adamek could deal with such adversity. Of course, if Tua comes in less motivated and falls into his plodding pattern from the opening bell, Adamek will school him. Whether the cyborg Tua shows up is the critical "If" here.

dude adamek would work tua. ar u people serious. tua is done n been done. does tua have a figh scheduled. ?
A prime Tua would Knockout Adamke by the mid rounds no doubt about it... But his days are over Adamek would win a clear decison.. But he better respect Tua and not trade... I think Adameks chin is overrated as a heavyweight. Arreola had him hurt and he didnt even land real flush, i think his chin is average at best.
