Round 1 Both men run to the middle of the ring but leave a body length between them, and each cautiously jabs. Tua opens up when Ahunanya backs up to the ropes, and swings on his waist with several punches but lets Ahunanya slip away. Ahunanya is focused on avoiding Tua's power in the early going but not throwing much himself, and Tua for his part is content to win the round on his busier jab. 10-9 DT Round 2 ?? (technical difficulties) ... last minute of Round 3 Tua digging away to the body, Ahunanya laying back on the ropes and turning his body side to side, with his head covered up.
That would be ****ing unbearable!!! Wlad's fan-boy newbie :asskiss fans, you know the guys, the twats who know ****-all about boxing (or anything else it would seem) that occurred before 2008/2009 would probably drive me to :desk and I love my desk (And I quite like my head!!).
Tua landed a biiiiig hook early in r4, but Friday weathered the storm and got off the ropes. Definitely hurt him there.
Round 4 Tua is circling around, changing directions, looking for an open spot. Ahunanya is keeping his defense tight and his feet moving. A couple of body blows connect for Tua; Ahunanya still shy on power punches. On my card Tua's up 2-0 (missed the second and most of the third).
2-1-1 Tua I reckon. He's really inactive though. Apparently its hot and sticky in Auckland. Hopefully they dont both utterly run out of steam.
I get your point mate, but even if the event turned out to be toilet (And your scenario plays smoothly in my mind) it would be better than what we are getting in the heavyweight scene at present!!
its a bloody close fight this, tua is plodding forward as friday jabs away, and twice tua gets through with huge combos. but tua did start takin backwards steps, maybe the humidity getting to him? 2-2
Round 5 Tua worming his way in with jabs and then cracking Ahunanya behind the bicep with whip-like shots. Tua not wasting energy throwing shots when Friday has the full ring behind him, waiting to trap his prey on or near the ropes. Ahunanya still covering up and evading well but timid offensively. Tua round.
great body wrk by tua. i have him 3-2 up now, but it is a close fight for first 4 rounds. expect friday to slow down drastically now
