    Round 8

Tua circling, stalking. Ahunanya keeping squared on him, and thrusting out a jab. Tua chases Ahunanya to the ropes with a double hook. Ahunanya inexplicably showboats (swinging his rear hand around Ali-style). WTF was that?? Tua remains the patient predator. Jab, jab, body shot. Tua finishes with a sweeping hook that Ahunanya just barely pulls his chin away from.

i thinki friday deserves that round, tua couldnt get through and friday jabbed quite well. 5-3 tua, but could feasibly be 4-4 since first 4 mrounds were dead even

    Round 9

Ahunanya now hugging the ropes and walking the perimeter. Tua stays in front of him but still isn't seeing an opening to fire upstairs. Tua digs a hook to the ribs and then brings another one crashing into the right glove pressed to Friday's cheek. Ahunanya sticking to his survival tactics, throwing a dozen jabs a round and landing half a dozen (almost no power shots).

For a small start Tua is only looking his best when he has Friday against the ropes. Wlad shows more ring generalship than Vitali and would get out of their 1 mile before touching it with his back, Vitali on the other hand (based on the Arreola fight) seems abit befuddled when against the ropes as though hes saying "This guy is trying to bully me???"

True, I'm not watching. But even if Tua had blasted this guy wouldn't change the fact that Tua's been over-the-hill for years now.

Not that being over-the-hill or washed-up is a huge handicap in the division at the moment. Holyfield's washed-up ten times over, but he should have been given that decision over Valuev. And Ruiz is being given a chance against Haye ! As long as these oldies get in decent shape, they are still capable of competing.
Vitali's ancient already, and even Wlad's pretty old.

true, I thought tua would at least be able to do something meaningful...Sounds like he is winning the fight on pure aggression alone...Some are rewarding Friday on his jab....I bet on the official cards its something in the range of 7-2 DT at this point...

Yeah Jeff, judging from IB's relay reports a ko does not appear to be on the cards!!

Mind you, look at Wlad-Chambers!! I put a few "Vquid" on Wlad ko/tko/disq and that bet copped with only 5 seconds on the clock!!

    Round 10

Tua jumping in with lead hooks. Ahunanya retreats until the ropes kiss his back, and then strafes along them as Tua advances. Tua lands a right hand. Then a hook that lands hard on the face. Ahunanya slips on the canvas and stumbles a bit after another, and is caught by the ropes. Ahunanya tries to push Tua off with a hard jab to the face and Tua ducks after a couple of them land and fires to Friday's body.

I know many will say Wlad because of his chin.

But I think I rather take my chances with Wlad taking 1 of Tuas shots over V taking 5, but thats just me.

FWIW I think Friday is fighting a good fight. He might not be all that significant in terms of profile or history, but he's doing a good job. Clearly pretty tough. I'm glad Tua's getting some rounds in too. Can only help with timing/sharpness etc regardless of what/who comes next.
