Last weekend Tony Thompson pulled out of a fight with Friday Ahunanya on the Ward card in Oakland, but Friday is hoping to take out Arreola in August in a fight muted for California.. Friday has a few options open, One was to box Mo Harris, but we think that the Arreola fight is more designed for an action packed event.. Tua has Barrett to apease.......... Friday boxed the last 3 weeks against Hasim Rahman sr and Jr and Bouie Toupoe.. In Eddie Mustafa's gym behind the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas..

Rahman sr was battered and has no business in the ring, Bouie did great and offered solid work, Hasim Rahman jr is a great prospect and is amazing talent for his years and it was good both for Friday and Rahman jr to just go through some technical sparring, Friday atepped off the power pedal, and Jr showed some natural skill, His problems only came when he was tagged and he adopted a sloppy trait of dropping his hands and staying too long on the ropes.. apart from that Rahman jr is really looking like something and Eddie Mustafa is working wondres with both he and Chad... Rahman jr is a golden shot at the 2012 games...

 

It's good to see Friday keeping busy. It's a shame about the Thompson fight. However if Friday steps up the aggression I see Arreola as a better fight for him. Arreola no doubt would rather fight Friday than Tua I'm sure. I think Friday can win this and it will be a really good scalp for him. It won't be enough for him just to keep away from the power like he did against Tua. He has to give Arreola somoething to think about.

 

Please, please BigCat, tell Friday to let his hands go. I'm rooting for him, and Arreola is a much better fight for him than Thompson. Easier fighter, and better rep. Sorry to hear about Rahman. How well did Rahman go when Friday sparred with him?
