It has been reported that David Tua will face the winner of next months Chris Arreola VS Chazz Witherspoon Winner. Kushner has confirmed it with New Zealand media, and the bout will take place in the US in either September or October. Winner will get a title shot in 2009. Tua will first fight in Odessa, UKR in July in another tune-up bout. Apparenlty Tua didnt pull out of the proposed earlier Arreola bout but both parites decided to wait to make the fight a bigger one with more on the line after each has another (hopefully) win and more time is taken to sort the propsed title bout for the winner in 09. Personally Arreola VS Tua would be a great fight.
Thats great news. Tua always deserved more than what he got out of boxing. When he is in shape he is a threat to any fighter in the world including Wlad Klitschko!!!!
Not much chance of Tua VS Cameron this year at least, seems Tua is now booked through until October, and if he beats Witherspoon or Arreola not much chance he would risk a fight against a semi decent opponent before a title shot either. Even though i think hes beat Cameron with ease
