Am I losing it or did you change your av 4 times this weekend? Even though I don't think highly of Arreola, Tua certainly could have benefited himself and disposed of him (six minutes of work, tops) while waiting for this Cameron "megafight" to crystallize.
230-235 would be a good weight for being very redy but I don't tink he''ll reach it. He looks very fat there. We will see, maybe he doesn't need to be 100% to beat Cameron. The question is how good is his 100% now comparing to 10 years ago......
:think Indeed that is the question. I personally still think that he has enough left to become a champion with that chin and left hook. The problem with him is motivation and consistency. He can't continue to fight once a year or every two years and expect to do anything significant in boxing again. This is a golden opportunity for him. He better take it seriously.
Now, he's taking a month off after having been training since Feb/March. He's watching his weight, but not actively training. In Feb/March, he was lifting weights and doing roadwork with his fitness trainer, and doing rounds on the heavy bag. Not sure what else. As I mentioned earlier, he'll be bringing in Roger Bloodworth, his main trainer, and some top ranked sparring partners from the US in August. I see him getting down to about 235 for the fight on Oct 3rd.
