CK has stated in the NZ press that the Tua vs Cameron fight may go int'l PPV. Would you pay to see Tua vs Cameron and Meehan vs Hopoate (undercard)? How much? If not, who do you need to complete the card to make it more attractive in the US?
Steve, there is a top undercard, Meehan vs Hopoate. As well as lesser known OZ and NZ fighters. But my question is, what decent fighter on the undercard would make you fork out the money to watch it in the US? The promoter tried to get Rahman, but that's uncertain.
@ top undercard, Meehan vs Hopoate @ as well as lesser known OZ and NZ fighters @ The promoter tried to get Rahman @ the thought of this being a PPV You Aussies sure like garbage don't you? Well at least you got a garbageman on the card (Meehan)
yeah... we gotten so bored watching the Klits fight we now acknowledge ANYTHING that involves engaging real boxers being more interesting to watch than those two clones are i guess :hey:fight:finger5....:rofl
K2Fan has a point. I don't think anyone outside Australia is interested in Meehan vs Hopoate. Hopoate is a joke and I thought Ben Edwards temporarily giving up his C-Level kickboxing career to pound him out in one round was going to be the end of him. Maybe you would have more luck trying to flog it to the UK. If you had Fury, or even say David Price or Derek Chisora against a decent opponent maybe the Brits would be interested. As it is it might be a hard sell.
BigBopper, from my original message, I wasn't just talking about the undercard, AS IT WAS. My question was, "who in the US might strengthen the card to make it more appealing to the US?"
