If its in Detroit i will be going just because its something to do besides the club or casino!!!! I hope Ward vs Dirrell comes here also!!! I am going to have a good time the end of this year!!!
I'll bet that team Tua backs away and claims not enough money or some ****........ "Holy-Tua" will sell well in the South Pacific........ I think the money is there if you go to the right places......... MR.BILL
So much for Tua-Toney. Maybe it's for Toneys best. Tua can bang - I am sorry for Holyfield though, even if he wins this, he will get hit. I fear Holyfield will leave the sport as a wreck.
As shot as Holy might be, I think he's still dangerous against slow, plodding opponents. Opponents who don't move fast, who stand before him and don't stay out of his reach. Tua does just that now. Toney stood before Holyfield, but that's another story as Toney can make you miss at close quarters. So don't count Holy out in this one.
Tua injured a shoulder when he fought Barrett. I wouldnt read too much into that fight. Was a win that was called a draw, but he will be rteady for the real deal if he doesnt aggrivate the torn rotator cuff again. I respect Holyfield bigtime,as does Tua. I wish they were not fighting now but like its been said its ALL about the bidness:think:deal
His shoulder had nothing to do with him getting dumped on his ass by a shot to hell Monte Barrett. It was a win that was called a draw, for Barrett.
I agree , it makes sense.. 3 years ago Holyfield looked at tapes of Friday Ahunanya, then tua fought Friday in NZ.. Tua looked stationary at times, and against Barret looked so ordinary Evander saw another chance to take a scalp... I remember Tua being part to team Holyfield and sparring with the then champ.. Evander knows exactly what to expect.. Its good networking...........
For James best? How so? Tua is ridiculously overrated (hate that word, but its true). The way Chris Byrd played with David, James.. even today, puts on a clinic while calling David a fat overrated piece of ****. :deal
Stylistically this is a great great fight for Evander and a horrible fight for Tua. He has to hope Holy is old because Holyfield has always had a firm grip on punchers and especially smaller ones. Tua is just right for Evander. I still give Tua a decent chance because Evander is not young anymore.
