TUA vs MIKE TYSON

This is a really interesting fight. Mike was so much better the style of Tua is not great for Mike. Tua had a good chin and if Mike could not get him out, Tua would be throwing huge left hooks and he is bigger than Mike in weight. Mike had two hands and not one, so I figure he would edge this, but this is the kind of fight which would wear out Mike for other fights. Mike UD is my guess in a clinching fight?

 

Tyson would struggle to drop him but his cleaner work could maybe get him a TKO or a UD.

 

Prime Tyson would stop him by the 7th with the ref jumping in

A very good match up though

 

Tua man would be a sterner test than most of 80's Mike's victims.

 

There was a good reason Don King never allowed Tua anywhere near Tyson!

It’s a 50/50 fight

If Tua gets anything clean on Tyson it’s over, if Tua rocks Tyson like Bruno did in fight 1 then it’s over!

That said I favour Tyson’s cleaner and wider skill set to win the fight on points!

Tua represented too big of a threat to ever get close to Tyson the money generating phenomenon!
Tyson cleaned up the division and after that it wasn’t easy finding quality opponents to sell PPV bouts.
There were plenty of less deserving fighters that got a shot, I can’t see any other reason why Tua was passed over.

 

Dream fight. Bad match up for Tyson. Would resemble Ike vs Tua. Tyson might have folded late in the fight. Tua would eat everything Mike throws and more.

 

If Felix Savon could drop Tua with a perfect timed counter, so could Mike. He had great precision.

 

The Tyson who showed up against Botha would get stopped.

The tyson against bruno or ruddock then Tyson clear UD

 

Tua too hittable, he gets beat up bad over 7 or 8 rounds then a towel stoppage imo

Yes sir, my exact prediction with the ref stoppage. Mike wouldnt have been able to KO David out cold, Tua had concrete for a chin. But my question is, if

 

Douglas was able to rock tyson, certainly Tua could have right? Very intriguing fight
