With Tua to return July 12 (far to long out of action AGAIN) he really needs to get a move on if hes serious about capturing a title. Minto is comming off a 1st round win over Van Sickle and now needs to look for a bigger fight to propel him back into contention. For both guys its a cross roads fight, winner mves a big step closer to a world title fight loser should look at his career options.

Not only does it make sense for both guys it would be a great fight both love trading Minto is tough and rugged and can punch, Tua has an iron chin and can bomb as we know. Would make for a great fight!

I'd wouldnt mind seeing this fight. At this point in his career, Minto needs to take a major step up in competition and see where he stands in the division. I know a July 2 Wednesday Night Fights telecast is scheduled to take place at Mountaineer Racetrack and Casino in West Virginia. Since that is where Minto fights out of frequently, maybe that event will be when he takes that step up in competition, whether it be against Tua or someone else.

David Haye is a bigmouth, he and Tua would be a great match. Get Tua back into the frame anddo plenty for Haye if he got a win?

I think Tua would win also, it would be a great fight because bth guys dont know the meaning of backwards! I think even now Tua is too strong, too powerful and has to good a chin for Minto to make any impressions. Minto would have to out work Tua but i dont think with his come forward brawling style he'd survive long enough to do so.

Good call shamrock Tua Vs Haye would be a great fight, to mus#ch risk for Haye though and I hear that they have already turned down that fight with Tua.

not just minto, but tua needs to take a big step up. he's only fought relative no hopers since 2003 I believe w/o checking. he needs a step up more than minto. minto would be a good starting point for tua, who needs some momentum and quick.

In theory, I agree, but Tua is not the same anymore.

This is a decent fight if it comes off. Minto's a tough guy, so might be good for a few rounds, but Tua would probably stop him.

All tua needs to do is pour some Dr. Pepper in Minto and he will explode.

Tough match up for Minto. Gotta say Tua is the likely winner.
IMO they must step Minto up very soon. I guess they must make the best fight they can.

The only chance Minto has is to try to get into the second half of the fight once Tua slows down.

I'd rather see Rahman vs Minto myself as Rahman is more shot than Tua but I guess we'll see what happens.

Last time Minto took a major step in his career he got his ass handed by Luan Krasniqi

Really bad match up for Minto. Tua has a great chin and great power. Minto has never faced a puncher like that. He could not afford to make one mistake against Tua. Plus, I am not sure if Minto has the skills to outbox him.

    Tua tko3 Minto
