Tua would not "destroy" him. Both had iron chins and power. Boxing ability goes to Tua while size/strength goes to Peter.
Tua UD or late stoppage. Peter has shown he can be stopped. Tua has not. While Tua also got the better skills, as Slyk says. Think I go with a stoppage somewhere between 8-12.
sam peter's power was overrated. he had that build that looked like he was going to be a big puncher and he was billed that way but everyone that he actually knocked out sucked.
Tua stops him. We all know Tua can be out boxed, he can't slip a jab to save his life and is not great in cutting off an opponent. But Peter doesn't have the style to take advantage of Tua's flaws. Tua by KO it could happen at any point, early or late. Peter has a good chin but Tua hit's hard enough to crack most chin's, Ruiz has always showed a good chin but look what Tua did to him.
Peter took on tougher opposition in Wladx2 and Vitali so it's hard to say who really had a better chin. The large volume of devastating 1-2's from Wlad certainly cracked Peter's once formidable chin. I'd wager the Tua that fought Lewis would be stopped by a prime Wlad.
Why do you think Wlad would stop Tua when Lewis didnt?? and Wlad is so much more safety first than Lennox so i dont see him stopping Tua.
So you are using the example of Tua going 12 with Lewis without being hurt and Peter getting stopped by both Klits as an argument for Peter having an equal or better chin? Maybe throw in the Ike fight where Tua wars and trades for 12 rounds. I think that might somehow prove Peter was more durable too.
Combined, maybe. Tua faced the best single opponent (Lewis) though and survived. But Tua beats Peter at least 9 out of 10. Better boxer I think and I think better power. If Wlad would beat stop Tua, it would be by a single punch, but the question is, wheter that is physically possible ;D Best guy Peter ever removed was Maskaev (And all his defeats were by KO)
No chance Wlad KO's prime Tua. Ibeabuchi KO'ed a prime Byrd with one punch something Wlad was only able to on his second attempt against a past prime Byrd. Wlad is simply too passive to throw enough to grind down Tua. Lewis hit Tua with some huge punches early on and realised he couldn't hurt him and Wlad hasn't shown he hit's much harder than Lewis if at all.
Peter couldn't even crack Wlad's porcelain jaw despite landing some hard shots and getting 2 chances to do so, no way he hit's as hard as Tua.
