hard punch yes, talent and skill, none. Tyson had a great chin, a great ****nal, note i said ****nal not punch. and bags of talent and skill.
He was better than Tua. That's why I'd make him a firm favourite. And the fight would not go the distance.
Tyson knocked out guys whod never been knocked out before and knocked out other guys much quicker than people like Bowe, Holyfield, Lewis and Foreman. Apart from Ruiz, and Moorer who was past prime and glass chinned anyway, all of Tuas top wins had been knocked out quicker by other fighters. This is a fact.
no, i dont mean in every case of course not. What i mean is Tysons power was legit and proven whereas Tuas is over taxi drivers and dustbin men and a couple of glass chinned fighters like Oleg Maskaev. Yes Tua koed him late in the fight, But Mcall knocked him out in one round. Put it this way, find me a top ten list, without laughing, of Tuas kos over good fighters. You'd struggle.
Tua hit hard. The reason he doesn't have lots of KOs over good fighters is more because he wasn't very skilful.
Tua would be eating every punch in the book, Tyson at least at his peak has great defence, if not one of the best defences at heavyweight. This fight is a one way street, the first few rounds would be tough, once the nukes start landing on Tuas chin and body, his desire wanes it would become apparent to both him and those watching, the gulf in class. its like comparing the military of the USA to the military of Pakstan, yes theyre both nuclear powers, but one is light years ahead of the other
Tysons skillful manoeuvre to knock Mathis out was better than anything Tua has done. Mathis was another fighter who had never been knocked out before and had gone the distance with Bowe Tyson broke Golotaa facial bones to make him quit, neither Lewis or Bowe did this. Tyson landed very few shots on Holyfield, look at the first seconds of the first fight, Tysons right hand send Holyfield flying across the ring. To me, the key punch in this battle is not the left hooks, its the uppercut. I see alot of clincing, wrestling and then Tyson unleashing a tirade of uppercuts that Tua would not recover from
It was possibly the greatest display of skill in human history, in any endeavour. That's true. He made it to the final bell, or at least until the bit where Bowe hits him while he's down. Larry Hazzard said it was okay, so who are we to argue ? Yeah, Golotaaa always found a new way to lose. ... and almost into Bolivian. :deal Holyfield saw Jesus, and the Lord told him to fly back across the ring and beg Tyson for forgiveness. Alas, the ghost of Sammy Scaff's nose came to me in a vision - and it was bleeding for my lack of faith in the power of Tyson. It uttered these words : "those who follow the sign of Tua will be doomed to damnation. Repent."
What the hell as Tyson knocking certain guys out quicker than Lewis, Holyfield, Bowe and Foreman got to do with the price of bacon concerning him facing Tua????
heres a strange fact, both mathis and scaff had more skill than Tua did. in fact, Tyson Fury has more skill than Tua did:good
Tua had a tremendous chin but his body was soft. Samoans are weak in the body. Tyson exploits this, probably as early as the first round.
