Yes, there is that possibility as well. As long as Tua doesn't sneak in any mysterious green men with poisoned vaseline, Wlad should be OK. :yep
If this fight happens its another disgrace. Tua has done nothing to warrant a title shot..or a top 15 ranking for that matter.
Neither did Danny Williams. That didn't stop people claiming Vitali was the best HW in the universe after beating him. ...And neither did Corrie Sanders in 2003... :hey
Let it go man, you know there are lots of sleezy brits with water bottles and the food is lousy there. :yep
Wlad is too much of a hard punching technician. I don't think Tua has ever faced anyone as skilled as Wlad.
Tua doesnt need a Mayweather Sr. Tua is a puncher, a brawler. Mayweather would not be the right trainer for him. The only important think is that Tua gets in great shape, 230-235 pounds and gets his speed, explosion and timing back. Back then Tua was way faster than today. Tua is on the right track, hes fighting next weekend but i heard it will be against Cerrone Fox, and thats really a joke! Such opponents wont prepare him for a fighter as Klitschko! But i heard he will fight again in Oktober, if thats true, good!! But please against an Top20 opponent! Against Lewis Tua was 244 pounds but still his punches were much faster as today and way more explosive. Tua was verry muscular when he fought Lewis. Today hes not as muscular and hes lighter but he has a higher bodyfat percentage. But even if Tua comes in a ripped 230 pounds and in great shape his chances to beat Wlad are slim. Wlad has such a big height and reach advantage, tua would never reach him and Wlad would hit him with his jabs and straight right and win a UD, and Tua will not be able to see anything after the fight because his face will be swollen as hell.
It's right that it's not simply about the weigh-in for Tua. He was perfectly capable of getting outboxed for long periods of time at his fabled, mythical 220 pound range as well...it's not weight alone that's his problem, it's technique. David still shows the same problem he's had throughout his career, that he has problems handling good movement and a consistant jab, even at lighter weights. He's simply got to do something about that...and he's taking on arguably the best jabber in the division, so no wonder many are skeptical about his chances!
