Just spitballing here, but a shorter guy has shorter arms right? And if someone the size of Tua was to fight a guy the size of either Klit it'd be imperitive that he got way inside and got his shots off right?
So if you're going to give away a significant height and reach advantage to a guy there may be some merit in having shorter arms which theoretically should make it easier to get your shots off inside.

The point is Cameron is a nobody and Tua has always been a jab eater. Wlad is the best jabbing heavy since.....

And is has nothing to do with hanging with "anybody" we are talking about Wlad the number one heavy in the world.

I know how you feel. I mention this about Tua resumes of fighters he beat in Rahman, Ruiz, Oquendo, Maskaev, Moorer in which 3 out of 5 of those fighters later became world champions while the other was already a former world champion and another one that was undefeated but then later got robbed of his chance to win a world title.

Terrible , terrible example. Cameron yes was sticking his jab but it didn't bother Tua. Tua is known as a slow starter mostly in the 1st round but i guess you don't know that. But back to Cameron, his jab didn't do anything to bother Tua. Tua was being patient as he mostly does in the 1st round and then when Tua have time to warm up he lands big shots.

IF, and thats a big IF, he CAN get inside. Problem is like with the lewis fight...to much punishment trying to get inside

Try and think beyond the box of cameron to wlad, you seem to be a nuthugger in your limited view. Wlad is MUCH more athletic and keeps distance, his jab is faster and much harder than camerons. It will bother Tua terribly. Tua is way to slow on his feet to close the distance with Wlad. Tua will eat punch after punch and will not be able to get inside on wlad.

This fight is a mismatch. Tua is way past his prime and this will be a a wider decision than the Lewis fight if it would come to pass. Someone would have to stop the fight to save Tua from his good chin.

 Finally a Tua fan that understands we need to see David in a fight with a "TOP 10" to see if he is really back.

Sorry Tua fans, but a KO win over a "NO NAME" doesnt mean you are ready for the big boys. I want to see Tua win his way to a title... Unlike another David we all know:hey:yep

Agreed - he has to earn his way there. Be interesting to see if he does though. With the division as it is, he has a name, we could see him pretty high in some of the rankings pretty quickly.
Anyway dont expect much from the next 3 fights - looks like they'll be against questionable opposition, but on the bright side they'll be very close together, so Tua will be very active for a change

it is a weak division, based on who Tua is I think he can jump right in there. I mean who else is wlad going to fight on voluntary? Holyfield? Povetkin doesnt wanna fight. After chambers might as well be Tua.

yes and how many times has tua knocked opponents out in the later rounds despite eating jabs and trailing on score cards?? point of the matter is, yes tua does need to prove himself by beating top opposition. but to say tua has little to no chance of beating either klitschko is ridiculous, with someone like tua, who posseses a granite chin and devastating knockout power, he's a problem for anyone in the current heavyweight roster. he has all of the tools, the real question is can he stay dedicated?? and i think he can.

    Yeah but it shouldn't be.
And to be honest I dont think getting a shot quickly is in Tua's best interests.
He looked good against Cameron, if you take the layoff he had into account he looked amazing. But not good enough to beat Wlad.
His head movement was good, but it needs to be great.
There's room for improvement and Tua will need to be on the top of his game if he wants to beat Wlad.

Look "rightcross" i post a thread that even though i'm a big Tua fan i don't think Tua would beat either Klit brothers cause they too big and too skilled for Tua. <<<Which is why i wanted Arreola to beat Vitali cause Tua could tko/ko Arreola to win the wbc heavyweight championship.

I agree. I like Tua and I hope he really makes it back. When he is on, he sure is fun to watch. Its that 1 punch at any moment that keeps you on edge:bbb:bbb
