I would love to see Tua shatter Wlad's glass jaw, but Wlad's jab would more and likely keep him at bay, and Wlad's clinching on the inside will hinder any of Tua's attacks. Though if Tua could manage to land a big hook, Wlad's chin would give and it's Corrie Sanders all over again.

Byrd, Brock, Iggy, Thompson couldn't crack an egg in heavyweight terms.

Brock, Austin, Rahman (now) and Thomson were nowhere near the level of Wlad. He held every advantage over those guys imaginable.

None of that of course is Wlads fault - I'm not implying that.

What you do get with Tua, are things that the other guys didn't have as a group, all in one package

An extremely solid chin (handy against Wlad )
True KO power (again, the one weapon that has worked against Wlad - as it does 90% of the heavyweights)
Experience. Look at the number of top quality fighters Tua has been in the ring with. Look at how many Brock, Austin and Thomson have been in with. When your best win is Guinn, Wlad is going to seem like he's from another planet.
A name. Most of the public with even a passing interest in boxing have heard of David Tua. Hell, Stewey even drew a picture on the wall of Tua in an episode of the Family Guy!

Wlad would still be a strong favourite vs Tua. But Tua has an equaliser in his fists that the majority of guys Wlad faces don't. Even Sam Peter. I'm not convinced he's a true, massive KO fighter. He might be against B level fighters, but can't seem to do it against top level guys.
