Tua's next fight against Cerrone Fox, Boxrec says Fox lost 5 of his last 6 starts? Is this a credible fight for Tua as a possible warmup for Wlad? Or is there another more formidable Cerrone Fox with the same name..?

I give the Tua of 10 years ago a decent chance at beating Wlad.

I give today's Tua a very slim chance.

We need to know who Cerrone Fox is, who the hell is Cerrone Fox and why is Tua fighting some one we never heard of before? C'mon david, you got any credible fans other than Klitschko haters? Please tell us about Fox!

I think Cerrone Fox was one of Povetkin's first wins.

The man Tua's fighting is 8-5 with 1 no contest. He lost 5 of his last 6 although 5 of his last 6 opponents had good records but he was ko'd by one with a 1-3 record.

So this fight? What good is it for Tua AND his fans? Why does Tua need to fight cannon fodder? Hell at this stage he could be fighting somebody of interest like Shane Cameron, or at least someone we've heard of in the current contender list.

Tua is biding his time for a title shot. I dont think he needs to teir his competition up at this point. He just needs to keep busy and get his weight down so he can throw punches for 12 rounds. If he can do that, he has a shot against any of the current champs including Wlad.

Fact is, I can't see Tua preparing to fight champs fighting chumps.

Its good for him and his fans because he needs to stay active in order to keep in shape. Hell, he's taking this fight with less than a MONTH to train for his opponent. You can't expect him to be taking on top teir opponents on less than a months notice..

Relax people, this is simply a keep busy fight, and 3 weeks after his last fight. We should be happy he got straighty back into the gym after Montana. Mesi pulled out of this Sep. 7th show and Tua filled in for him with 3 weeks notice its hard enough finding Tua an opponent with months up your sleeve let alone 3 weeks. All |i care about in this fight is seenig Dave blow this guy out in 1 or 2 rounds and come in weighing 3/4 possibly even 5lbs less than he did for Montana if he can do that then job well done. Fox isnt his last fight before possibly Wlad. He'll find again this year possibly twice!

What do you think of David Tua VS Cliff Couser as his next fight end of Oct. start of Nov.??

Sorry mate, just don't see how stepping in a ring to blow a sacrificial lamb out in one round is gunna help David's weight loss, his ringsmarts, or his fanbases exuberance. Just not credible.
