...he would get a shot at Vitali Klitschko, after his fight with Adamek, they had a contract from K2! i read it at scene website! that means that Vitali plans at least one more fight after Adamek!
That would have probably been a career high payday, or at least 2nd to the Lewis fight for Tua...and he blew it by coming in overweight. I don't feel sorry for him, it's his own fault.
If Tua really had that chance lined up and blew it, it makes his "effort" against Barrett (or at least 30 or so of the 36 minutes of it) all the more pitiful.
me too, he had hes chance on the other note its interesting that he was offered to fight Vitali not Wlad! Do you have any clue who Wlad will fight in November?
No chance against either, really. Wladimir would have spotted the leaping left hook (Tua's best remaining weapon) a mile away and had plenty of time to react to it. If it landed even once, it could put Wlad in full OMGWTFBBQ panic mode, but IMO it wouldn't have landed even once. Vitali, you're right - his work rate + chin makes the math on that one pretty simple. The Compubox #s would be ridiculous. Vitali might land twice as many as Tua threw. At the end of the day, if all he had to was rush and swarm his way to a stoppage victory over Barrett to put himself in the ring with a Klitschko for a career payday (and at least a nominal "chance" at the world title that had long eluded him) then it says a lot about his lack of passion for the sport that he only made a serious concerted effort to do so in the final few minutes.
my bad, if he meant Vitali than those are good fights, although i dont think that Helenius is ready yet
Tua's lost some power with should probs so it would of been a clown of a fight anyways had Vitali vs Tua went down. I'd say Vitali got plenty more fights left in him but not sure what his plans are at this point...
