    I thought he may have been doing what people seem to want Richard Steele to have done in the Taylor-Chavez fight.

    Ask how much time the fighter has to endure a one-sided beating for before the bell went....

    I use it quite often now. It is a very good way to describe that style of fighting, and everybody understands it :D

    I've always thought Tua is Haye's absolute worst opponent. More so than the Klitschko's. Considering how he struggled (relatively) with Mormeck and Fragomeni, there are so many comparisons to draw.

    Tua looked fairly mobile and got his punches off well. If he got in range and could unload it would be a short night for Haye...thats the 'if' though!!

    Tua could seriously **** Haye up. Doubt Haye will fight him unless he really has to.

    What about Tua/Toney?

    There is something really interesting about that fight. Toney lacks a lot of movement these days, he would stand in the pocket with Tua. It would gel together perfectly.

    Could Tua be the first to KO Toney considering Toney has been hurt at heavyweight, not least in his last fight against a bum, or would Toney's speed and counterpunching outslick him?

    I think Haye should avoid Tua big time. High risk no real reward. Not much good can come fighting someone with a long lay off that is no where on the heavyweight scene and still has a granite chin, solid power and still a decent enough amount of speed to hurt someone.

    I realise there is absoultely no chance of it happening. Just an interesting one to ponder and it was a token effort to bring a British context to the thread.

    **** knows about Tua-Toney, I'd have to see more of Tua to see what level he's back to.

    I think if Tua is good enough to beat a decent top 10 guy then he's good enough to beat Toney.

    I sense the same and wrote the post above (33) before reading any of the thread.

    Tua could possibly be a nightmare for Haye, Haye's speed possibly gives him a better shot against the Klits even.

    Especially at this time in his career; the reward to cost of Tua isn't that great... "reward to cost", what has happened to me.:patsch I'm not Haye's accountant.

    Tua takes it i think Toney goes down here. Would be interesting while it goes though.

    Tua-Meehan would be a decent fight next up. Meehan has already called out the Tuaman and brings a WBA ranking.

    Meehan was decent in his day, except for the Williams debacle. He fought outstandingly well against Brewer and should have got the nod IMO.

    He hasn't fought a live opponent in about 5 years which is worrying. You could say the same for Tua, but Tua looks that little bit sturdier and better able to deal with these things somehow...

    It would be a huge fight in that part of the world so it will probably happen.

    On Haye vs Tua - I think Haye lacks the discipline to beat someone like Tua.

    Granted, he won't (IMO) get back to his late 90's form, but even after that, the only guys to beat him were Lewis, the best of his era, and Byrd, who had the speed, awkwardness and balls to get through.

    Whatever improvements Haye has made since say, the Bonin fight, he is still essentially a balls to the wall, kill or be killed banger...... he isn't the type of guy to suss an opponent out, or go that step further and out-point someone.

    Haye has only outpointed one fighter in his entire career and that was a cruise to the decision under no stress whatsoever.

    I'm worried about that aspect in the Valuev fight nevermind when Tua is chasing you down.
