Tony Tucker versus these Marciano opponents.
    Roland Lastarza
    Harry Mathews
    Don C*ckell
    Rex Layne

Prime for prime, how does it go?

Tucker probably beats those lot but looks mediocre in the process.

Tucker had a handfull of competitive fights. He beat Douglas when it counted but other than McCall who else?

Everet Big Foot Martin went the distance with him. Orlin Norris, just a little guy, gave him a split decision then beat him. A washed up Jimmy Young gave him ten rounds, Mike Evans ten rounds. Everything else was a loss.

Without mentioning Tyson or Lewis...little Herbie hide knocked him flat. Bruce seldon stopped him too.

What's that, two competative wins in 65 fights?

Yeah," little Herbie Hide", at 6'2" 216.75lbs significantly bigger than any of those in the title, beat a 39 years old Tucker.

I guess you missed the part that says PRIME FOR PRIME, the part that I deliberately underlined to pre-empt you and a couple of others:patsch

That's why he said you cant use the Tyson and Lewis fights.

Norris," just a little guy" 215lbs for Tucker, which is heavier than any of those I named. WTF is wrong with some people are they so terrified that some of Marciano's opponents will be exposed as the average fighters they really were?
Is there a secret club called, The Guardians Of Marciano's Legacy? It's pathetic:patsch

Probably because in 65 fights Tucker won just two competative fights, did not produce a signature win and at his best proved to be no better overall than Orlin Norris.

I agree. Those guys were average contenders in the greatest scheme of things. But most are.
