If Tony Tucker had met Tommy Morrison in 1993 ? Tucker had challenged Lewis and taken him the distance but dropped twice . Morrison had the win over Big George but also the loss to Bennt . So was Tucker still good enough to beat Tommy or could the younger , stronger Morrison take him ?
A bit of a toss-up fight for me. Tucker had very good skills, he was a good boxer, decent puncher, good chin. Morrison was a powerful puncher, but very flawed, poor jab, average chin, limited stamina. The issue with Tucker, to me at least, was he was missing something, the "IT" factor. He was good at a lot of things, but not excellent at anything. I think Morrison beats Tucker 6 out of 10 times, manly on heart.
