At the end of the day its all rumours. There have been quite a few rumours (not surprising) floating around about how Kimbo did. Unless its from a good source, I try to ignore believing rumours. After it was announced he is fighting Nelson, it does seem the one about him getting KO in his 1st fight could turn out to be true.

They should just put it out in as close as real time as they could to stop this ****.

I remember that fight Wes Simms jumped on Mir's Face, it was brutal. Sims is a decent fighter, and has probably the most experience out of all of the fighters.

If I had to bet on a result it would be Slice loss in he first round.

    His record is 1 loss.
Draw - I am not counting the Thompson fight as a win.... its just wrong.
and 2 wins (Tank Abott and another jobber fighter)

his record is not very good.

Does anyone else think Dana may have purposely got that leaked, truth or not, in order to generate more interest for the show? Just a thought...

His experience should help him and he isn't as bad as the 2 guys who have fought from Rampage's team so far.

Have to disagree with you here; yes BJJ was designed to help the smaller man shrink or eliminate the disadvantage of being smaller, but there are plenty of great BJJ players that are muscular and bulky.

Although you are right in the sense that Abe was trying to use the type of BJJ game that is better suited to smaller flexible guys, so if that is more what you meant then it makes more sense.

BJJ tournaments should take a page out of tennis tournaments books; no direct coaching. It's supposed to be a match between 2 participants, not two schools.

It would give large schools less of an advantage; first by not letting a large group of blackbelts direct their guy on every move, but rather actually make the competitors compete on their own merit and skill, secondly it would lower the intimidation on refs from a huge group of "big time" coaches screaming at them.

Even better it would force Marc Laimon to shut the **** up for once.

That is what I have heard consistently, but I have also heard that he comes back as a replacement for an injury or mental breakdown or whatever reason.

I think the current way is good, it allows the fighters who make the finals to prepare properly with whatever coaches they choose, and still have time to run a proper training camp with whatever team they choose.

Well even if this was a rumor that Kimbo would come back as a replacement - odds are that this is exactly what would happen. Wouldn't you want Kimbo to come back? Seems like a no-brainer decision to me. Imagine how pissed off people would be at the end of this season if Kimbo was permanently eliminated from the show early on AND then the Rampage vs Evans fight is called off?
