When Marcello he was picked he was up quick as a flash. Cruz trying to get the psychological edge by picking Faber's best guy, but he might well outgrapple Lawrence. Risky, but ballsy.
Yea, I don't think he's good. He didn't do anything in that fight except have Krushank run into his knee. Totally undeserving win and I'm not sure why Dana said it was a huge mistake for Uriah to have picked that fight. Fuk that, it was just terrible luck. I bet my left nut Vick gets KTFO next fight inside a round.
Yeah he doesn't look comfortable in there. Awesome to pull out that knee but shows you, anything can happen in MMA. Cruickshank looked to be one of the better fighters and Vick caught him big. It happens.
Yea but that knee was supposed to be a kick -- total fluke. Kruickshank probably would've went pretty far. Tickle, that 8 second KO guy and 1st pick guy are the ones to watch I think. mind you the 8 second KO guy only showed he had devastating power and can really hit. ANyone catch that dude who's dad died initially saying he's homeless and living on the street the last 3 months, yet seemed later to be VERY close with his mom and dad. I think he was just tryin to make a story for himself as being a bum and use the "rise from the ashes" thing.
when kruikshank lost i was like BULL**** then the guy that beat him acts like he's the **** that pissed me off
Felt like **** for Urijah. Urijah has a track record of fighting everyone whos anyone and even if things are going bad like vs Aldo on one leg or agianst Brown with no hands he keeps going. Yet nobody from his team shows any balls whatsoever. I know Lawrence looks like the favorite to win this season but **** if you wanna win TUF you will have to face the toughest guys anyone so step the fight up and take the kid out. Vick took out Kruschank and nobody thought he could.
Something about it rubbed me the wrong way too. Almost showboating and kid did nothing but fluke the fuk out.
Vick was a fluke. Krus knocked himself out. lol But I agree about the guys not stepping up, but what's worse is after they're saying they would have if it happened again.
Yeah, both guys were scared shitless of each other in the first. Marcello somehow managed to keep his head straight up in the air long enough to get tagged over and over until he got dropped. Anyone else notice that the "live in the locker room" thing three minutes before the fight had both guys sitting there without their hands taped or getting taped? Not so live then....
Lawrence was tense and timing off, thought he was really reaching a lot. What is he, 23? With 3 MMA fights? Pressure can be a factor for this kid if he lets it get to him. You could see he wasn't comfortable, even in KTFO of that guy. He could've gotten him out a lot sooner but seemed scared of really letting go. He has SO MUCH emotion in his fighting though. You can tell this kid is a real fighter and bet my left nut he'll be a top contender within 2 years in UFC.
