Who else is watching/enjoying this season?

Standard of fighters seems to be quite dramatically improved.

Have been a couple of mini-epic fights in the cage, with only one or two fizzers. In general the fights have been entertaining. Uriah in particular looks like he might actually be able to make some noise in the division.

Coaches have a good dynamic and both come across pretty well. Sonnen in particular is clearly an awesome coach.

Increased focus on training rather than on guys wanting to be allowed to bang in the house, bro.

I'm liking it. My two flatmates are actively looking forward to watching it each week too, which is cool.

Hoping Dylan the Mozzie wins tonight as well. :yep

Anyone else think this season is a HUGE improvement from the last few? :conf

I'm glad it's going well, but honestly I stopped watching after about season 2 or 3 can't quite remember.

Yeah the Carwin/Nelson one was shocking.

Zero charisma from the coaches, no sense of rivalry, poor crop of talent in the house, crap fights, and way too much embarrassing reality-TV "drama". :-(

This season is quite the contrast. It's worth watching for sure. One guy, Uriah Hall, won his first fight with one of the nastiest one-shot knockouts I've seen. The guy was snoring for four full minutes before he woke up. :!:

Dynamic between the coaches is great, zero ****-stirring from Chael, the fights have been of an entirely decent standard and it looks like there are a couple of real prospects in there. Plus most of the film takes place in the gym, not the house. So you see a lot more of the training sessions than ever before.

You see it come up on the TV listings, it's very much worth tuning in. Haven't enjoyed a TUF this much since GSP-Kos. :good

It is a good season. I haven't watched many of the seasons; but of the the few that I have, this is the best.

I'm not trying to bring in an argument from another thread, and it is a cool concept, but I don't think that it is necessary for the coaches to fight each other every time. For instance, I would like to see Anderson Silva coach against Jose Aldo for a TUF Brazil season. Then Silva and Aldo to co-main a card in Brazil afterward.

the fights are good. i don't like the comments with the fighters thru' the show. real close-up and having that bright reflection in their eyes constantly. looks cheesy, and the music seems more up front.

i was expecting more entertainment from Chael, he has shown he is quite a very respectful guy willing to help anyone and be positive to guys on the opposite team.

Brilliant season. Well matched and Chael is a great motivator.

I'm waiting for it to be over so I can just watch it in one hit. The first episode seemed to be a heaps better production.

It's been a revelation so far, Since they decided to treat the show as showcase of talented sports men instead of soap opera for jocks the show finally looks legitimate.

He's just being himself rather than his WWE like persona to sell fights.

I wonder if his conversation with Renzo really changed him.

If you never saw what I'm referring to, listen to Ariel's question at 1:10 and listen to Chael's response. It's brief, they only talk about it for less than a minute:

Renzo goes more in depth about their conversation, and reveals what Sonnen is like in person:

I remember some guys from Nelsons team who couldnt listen to their corner if their life depended on it.
Nelson actually came with some solid advice during the fights as a corner man but damn what can he do if the fighter isnt willing to listen?

Obviously Kevin gets wasted by Bubba next week as it's apparently 'one of the most shocking finishes in TUF history' and we still haven't seen the black guy with a beard be taken out on a stretcher yet
