What's very cool is that the winner could be in line to face the winner of Burns vs. Mitchell (although there's some chatter going on now that Mitchell is going to drag MAB out of retirement on a Burns-TBA undercard :-( Hope it's bull****...)

For his part, Rahimov is in queue to be the #1 contender if and when Mitchell challenges Burns (because one way or the other, Mitchell himself will no long be the #1 contender...he'll either succeed and be champion or fail and fall down the rankings).

I'm not sure if the WBO would generously up-jump Kim to Rahimov's #2 spot if he beats him, since he currently isn't even in their top 15. You never know, though. If not he might still only be another win or two away from contention.
