This will be a 45 round affair. Does Willard have a chance against the smaller skillful boxer?

45 rounds whew....sure Willard stands a chance but I think as much endurance Willard had Tunney had a little more...maybe

In a 45 rounder, I'd have to pick Willard.

Tunneys style is perfect for shorter 10-15 round fights.
And he will look really good in the first 15 rounds of the gift, just like Johnson.

But how long can he keep his mobility up? He will surely need it for the fight, as Willard is a devastating puncher with a huge frame. Willard will tire Tunney in the clinches, which takes its toll in a 45 rounder.

Can Tunney knock out the durable Willard early on? I doubt it. Dempsey barely could without a neutral corner.

    Jess Willard KO 31

Very tough to call. Tunneys boxing ability and along with this his ability to maintain a consistent beating of Willard could produce for him a TKO win. Tunneys right hand was a strong weapon although not as powerful as Willards.
