I've got these 4 closely rated together
Walcott followed by Langford then Wills and last but not least Tunney.
    How do you rank em?

I don't rate Tunney at HW.
    Ditto for Langford.

Walcott circles the top 15, Wills the top 25.
I'd have Langford roughly 20ish, and Tunney would be pretty far away from that. Possibly 40s, below Spinks.

    16: Walcott
    19: Wills
    20-25: Langford

I have no clue where Tunney would go. His accomplishments at HW are so underwhelming

At heavyweight I rate Tunney ahead of Walcott. I simply think he was considerably better. .. Wills eventually dominated Langford but it coincided with Sam older and w compromised vision .. at Heavyweight it for me is either Tunney or Wills first followed by Langford then Walcott ..

Tunney has no business being rank ahead of any of these at heavyweight.

    Seems illogical.

They both clearly have significant accomplishments at heavyweight.

I rate Langford as a "pfp fighter", which is a compliment I give out sparingly, as I can't pick a weight he was best at/did his best work at. Only guys like Langford, McLarnin and Pacquiao have received it so far.

Tunney is a LHW imo, through and through, his achievements are greatly overstated imo. Spinks has a better résumé at HW imo.

I get your point on resume and amount of fights but I'm going on skill and style .. Langford was vulnerable to boxers at heavyweight .. he had issues with a heavyweight's jab .. Tunney was an excellent boxer with a decent reach, 77" , outstanding speed and a terrific jab. He would not have mauled and traded with him like a Smith or a Fulton. He would have boxed him and Sam, while the best P4P of all of them had limitations as a heavyweight .. I don't know about Tunney vs Wills H2H but I am of the thought that while I certainly like Joe Walcott I feel he is over rated by many and flawed as a fighter ..

So, while Langford actually KO'd Wills, McVea, Smith, O'Brien and Jeanette, Tunney would have speculatively done better at heavyweight.

    That does not satisfy me.
