    Prime Gene against:

    Choynski
    Kilrain
    Jackson
    Sullivan
    Sharkey
    Fitzsimmons
    Jeffries
    McCoy

When Corbett fought them. Does Gene retire undefeated?

Any bumps along the way? Who do you see being the toughest matchup, and why?

Sullivan's reputed speed + power & Jeffries' combined size & power could both be threats to him.

The only question marks in my mind would be Peter Jackson and Jim Jeffries.

Not really.I rate Tunney a lot higher than Corbett.Jeffries would always be there, but I think Tunney would give him quite a scientific beating.

I always found that Fitz and Jeff would get to Tunney eventually, especially under the circumstances Corbett fought them like a finish fight or 25 rounder.

With all this film to sift through it’ll be a while before I have your answer! Corbett could’ve been one of the best ever, at one point he was the best fighter in the world… who knows if he was a lot better or a lot worse than Tunney? Assuming a whole lot I’ll say Fitz probably gets him?

Jeffries is the biggest question mark here; he was still a bit raw when he beat Corbett the first time, but by the 2nd time around I would confidently take Jeffries under the ruleset and round length of those times
