Tunney vs. Dempsey I, Was Dempsey just not ready for Tunney? or was it just to late?

    A must see fight!..lots of action and Tunney was fighting a smart fight!, Just some really great boxing!

    It was a better fight than their rematch in my opinion. The rematch had the drama of the "Long Count" and Dempsey being subsequently dropped and nearly put away, but for the beginning part of the fight Dempsey did nothing but fall into Tunney's clinches while Tunney kept scoring consistently with light punches.

    I completely agree with you!..It was like Dempsey was fallin into his trap.

    And as Tough a Tunney was and as good of fight that he fought against Dempsey..He did drop him and have him hurt but had trouble finishing him..
