:good he was absolute class against a prime Glen Johnson. I personally feel he was the reason why Johnson, as a fighter was never as good after the B-Hop fight even with his success against the likes of Tarver and Jones Jr. Still though I must agree with the general consensus and pick Tunney. An easy night for Gene, Hopkins does not possess anything that Tunney could not handle in sparring, Bernard's main offense, spoiling and crowding would not happen, hey, this guy kept Dempsey off him for heavens sake.
Hopkins outpoints him, too clever and too skillful for Tunney, and size difference will be insignificant.
