    Tunney wins a clear decision.

Tunney only lost to one fighter, Harry Greb, who Tunney beat several times. Tunney went 3-1-1 vs. Greb lifetime. Tunney is one of only 3 lineal HW Champs who were never stopped, Marciano and Bowe are the others. He beat Battling Levinsky, Harry Greb (3-1-1 lifetime), Georges Carpentier KO15, Tommy Gibbons KO12, Jack Dempsey x2, Tom Heeney, and he'd beat Jerry Quarry as well. He also drew with Tommy Loughran.

    Tunney greater fighter overall.

In a 3 match schedule Tunney wins 2/3 in fantastic fights.

But not the first one. Quarry is a perfect match for Tunney, Excellent combos, goood footwork tremendous Left hook, solid right , hell ... solid everywere and heart to keep going.

I just think Quarry will get Tunney in a war, and somehow find a way to catch Tunney with a great combo. I see Quarry giving Tunney his long count in the first match.

Tunney would beat hin soundly the next 2 times. Tunney studied his opponents like few others ever did.

Tunney was twice as good as Ellis, he outpoints Quarry ,showing him speed, footwork ,and angles.

Tunney would totally outclass Quarry. A very onesided points win.

I remember watching Jerry Struggle to get the win against a shifty Larry Middleton, Machen...Ellis....Gene's style and talent appears all wrong for Jerry,
Gene is not the Lumbering dreadnought Jerry usually takes the Dread out of,
