Shavers only had the puncher chance here in my opinion. Tunney's footwork, speed and Ring I.Q. would have been the deciding factor. I say The Fighting Marine clearly on points.
Shavers by KO within 3. Something of the hue of Shavers' game throws off Tunney... his power, I think.
Tunney would murder Shavers. An awful match up for the god of thunder. I'll say Tunny by late stoppage if it's 15.
Shavers walks through Tunney who learns the difference in power between a shot Dempsey on a rainsoaked ring and a prime Shavers whipping anvils at his face.
I don't think Shavers would recognise Tunney from a photograph if they fought, he'd be out of his line of sight the whole fight punching his face off.
