They hosted it last time for the 2012 olmypics! there around 30 countries in the european section who would all love to host this tournament how the **** do turkey get it twice in a row! 2. Some of the best boxers in the world missed out on the olympics due to terrible decisions 3. Turkey couldn't qualify one boxer from the 2011 world championships, in fact only one of there boxers won more than one fight at that tournament, but when it came to the european qualifiers they became world beaters and qualifed 6 boxers due to disgraceful hometown decisions! paddy barnes came out of the ring after losing to a turk at the qualifers 21-14 and went 'i battered him, even his mother knows i won that fight' he was lucky as he had already made it to the olympics though Maxim Koptyakov the reigning european champion at the time got robbed against a turk and failed to make it to the olympics, the european champion didnt make it to the olympics because of this ****! light heavyweight was where the biggest robbery happen, Joe Ward world junior,youth and the reigning european champion met the turk Bahram Muzaffer and was judged to have lost 18-15. I was reading an article that said that no other country wanted to host it. Perhaps with today's country's having to pay tens or hundreds of millions in security for all this Israeli inspired terrorism, it's just not worth it. All the countries flat out said they weren't interested in hosting them.
