Yes. We get to pay to see a scrub pick up a scrap left behind by Usyk and fraudulent IBF.

They should both be ashamed of themselves and better not dare boast about being a champion after winning

I can't believe you guys ever pay more than £25 tbh. It's mental the opv structure over there.

I mean the $50+ PPV prices were required to fit the salaries demanded by top flight boxers and naturally by way of capitalism them prices would be dictated by the market demand...but Saudi's can pay them without requiring PPV revenue. If Floyd turned round tomorrow demanding $80 PPV to fight roided MgGregor they'd still be 200,000+ suckers who'd probably pay for it during this hard economy.

That ugly Canelo midget still operates on PPV doesn't he? Dead market.

I don´t get why people are so upset over IBF stripping Usyk. They simply followed their own rules and even put the interim belt out there to appease everyone. Hrgovic was the mandatory for nearly 2 years, at some point you either enforce the mandatory or screw over the top contender.
The winner of Fury-Usyk was supposed to fight the IBF mandatory, but they decided to rematch instead. How is that fraudulent on the IBF´s part? They bent their own rules to appease everyone.

Well, in fairness, the median salary for full-timers in the U.S. is around 60,000USD, and it's 31,000GBP in the UK.

Also, isn't it more of a social event in the U.S. and more of a solo purchase in the UK? - I could well be wrong on this part though

The IBF have been crap for years...

It's a money grab to take the belt off the undisputed champ. Policy takes a back seat to logic sometimes or at least it should.

They can have their trinket, but I hope neither of them boast about being a paper champ after they both got thoroughly stomped by a "middleweight"

Yeah. I supposed when I was younger I did have fight parties but not anymore. Some may be doing that.
Don't forget, salary doesn't tell the whole story. My British wife is appalled at the price of groceries here amongst other things.

That's pure capitalist thinking lol, they have more money so we'll charge them more for the exact same product.

Paid $100 for the Pac-Mayweather fight. Couldn't exactly say no to that one

Turki is giving the opportunity to people that aren’t in the sport jumping for the money, they’re chasing greatness.

I understand what you are saying, but I'm not necessarily arguing that. And I often see the U.S. get charged less for the same international products. Yet the pound has always been the stronger currency (1USD = 0.75 GBP).
    Apple iPhone 16 Pro = 999USD and 999GBP (999USD = 750GBP)
    Nintendo Switch = 350USD and 300GBP (350USD = 250GBP)
    Uniqlo Airism Boxer Briefs = 28USD and 31GBP (28USD = 21GBP)
