Dubois knocked down Joshua with a right hand thrown from last Thursday; the fact he was vulnerable to a telegraphed right hand doesn't bode well for a fight against, an albeit faded, Wilder. Despite Wilder's decline I'm sure his power is still there, and if Joshua persists with the hands-down nonchalant defence instilled to him by Davison then I'm sure he will be vulnerable to it; I would back Wilder by KO in the first half of the fight unless Joshua makes some serious changes.
Not only do i not mind this, i want it. I felt the same with Brook v Khan and Mayweather v Pac. Yes it's years too late, but i still want it late than never.
Am inclined to agree. Fights which happen soo far past their sell by date, I think, are somewhat pointless because they don't really tell us much about what would have happened in their primes. Wilder particularly just seems to be a different fighter now. I like Turki for bringing the big fights to fruition, but is this the downside of him being such a big fan? He's pushing through fights which are past their sell by date simply because he always wanted to see them?
There are downsides to a fan making fights instead of matchmakers. and I think it’s clear, turki is a huge fan. Probably around 35-45years old
Couldn't agree more mate He's a breath of fresh air, but sometimes the fan inside will makes these fights He's getting things done, but at this stage Joshua should absolutely obliterate Wilder. Some will say that's always the case, but wilder is super shot If only this had of happened, rather than wilder fighting parker
I'm down for it, Joshua is chinny af and still doesn't have the luxury of being caught cleanly by Wilder. I think it's still an interesting fight although it's far too late.
Wilder need retire, he looks shot to **** and gunshy. he needs protecting like Holyfield, Roy etc. These guys have too much warrior in them but the body is not agreeing
