could be an interesting fight what with the akward style of turpin and the southpaw in hagler. turpin has the strength and is a solid fighter but hagler is a step ahead and mentally tough. whos winning this bout how and why.i can see turpin going the distance and possibly eeking out a win but my gut says hagler.

Hagler would take an extremely hard fought decision. Randy would give Marvin the fight of a lifetime.

Hagler takes a close, well-earned decision.

I've always said Turpin is really underrated, not just on here but in the boxing world in general. That said I have to follow the consensus here and say Hagler by narrow but well earned decision. In fact Hagler and perhaps Monzon are the only middleweights I think would beat Turpin 3 fights out of 3.

The trouble with Turpin is that his prime didn't last too long even though his career did.He virtually went into decline the moment he lost to Sugar Ray,up to then I think he gives any Middleweight ever all the trouble they could handle.
