I like Lamotta work rate and attrition but a 10 rounder and a 15 MAY PLAY OUT DIFFERENTLY. However I like Jake because of his strength and chin and work rate. I think over 15 Jake gets the stop.

too early for Turpin was Jake at that time in Randolph's career.

could have went either way as both were durable fighters.
I have thought about this fight numerous times and yet for some reason it has always seemed somehow like a stinker. Just a gut feeling for some reason, Turpin a good boxer and probably stronger, Jake did lose to smaller top middles, but he also was teak tough.

my instincts would say Turpin, but I just don't see this as a historically memorable fight, more like a Hopkins kind of victory for whom ever wins it!

Turpin was on the Euro circuit and Lamotta moved to LHW by the time Turpin rose to prominance.

I think Turpin wins he's stronger, a better jab, faster and a better puncher. HE certainly beat a better Robinson too

I think it'd be an action packed bruising contest
