Tonight (July 16, 2011), at 7PM Pacific / 10PM Eastern Time, FOX SPORTS ESPANOL will re-air one of Humberto Soto's past fights (against Fidel Monterrosa), rather than show Juan M. Marquez's live fight tonight against Likar Ramos. This content is protected This goes on to show, that Humberto Soto is more highly regarded by the TV stations than Juan M Marquez, because all the Networks know for a fact that JMM has been ducking Soto for years, since 2007 (just like Pacman has also ducked Soto too). JMM couldnt get any network ( This content is protected , This content is protected , This content is protected , This content is protected , etc.) to air his fight, so TR will have to show it in their own TR website . :happy
Soto is a weak fighter that went life and death with Antillon. Rios destroyed Antillon easily. Don't use the excuse Soto already weakened Antillon because before Soto fought Antillon, Acosta already destroyed Antillon and we all know Rios destroyed Acosta while being fresh and still champion. Rios > Soto Accept it and live with it
Soto "toyed" and "played possum" with Antillon. Soto could've KO'd Antillon in the 1st round had he wanted to, but didnt cause he dont want to scare the 140lbs champions into not giving him a shot at their titles. Soto already scared Pac, JMM, MAB, EM and so many others into not fighting him. that why "he takes it easy now" on BUMS. Antiilon was Soto's "leftovers" Rios is just "cherrypicking " has beens. Look at what he's doing now?? Rios is now going after the "batlle-wornes/shop worned" Katsidis, whom is coming off of 2 losses ( 1 loss by KO to JMM). Now Rios wants Katsidis to get more "wear-n-tear" by waiting for Katsidis to fight this August, before Rios can fight a "has-been" Katsidis, cause Rios is scared to fight Jorge Linares, John Murray, Juan Diaz and so many others that have called him out at 135lbs.
Thank you for making your post so short, I had to stop at that sentence. atsch This is my recap of Soto's fight with Antillon " This content is protected Re: Is Soto a disgrace mexican? Rounds 1-5 I scored for Soto easy. Round 6 was Antillon's, and so was round 7 till he got brutalized by many many powershots. He was about to go all through the end of that round. Round 8 was really either way with Soto landing the crisper punches buckling Antillon with a short left hook at the start. But Antillon was doing his little walk forward, butt and shoulder push while swinging. Round 9 Soto takes most of the round off, but lands a huge left hook with :41 s left, Soto then starts a flurry landing two nasty left uppercuts staggering Antillon at :23 s. Soto continues banging to the body as Antillon is still staggered, rounds a draw. Round 10 Soto 20 seconds in lands a sweet right uppercut while circling to his left, at 1:30 Soto lands a sold 1-2 at which point Antillon begins an assault on Soto's body landing a few effective shots. With 23 seconds remaining Soto throws a right, 3 left uppercuts, followed by 3 huge left hooks staggering Antillon. Soto goes for the kill landing a right, left uppercut, left hook, right uppercut, left uppercut combination, sending the challenger to the ropes. Round 11 Soto staggers Antillon all throughout the round, and the challenger has no feet underneath him. The last round Antillon lands a few solid headshots, but Soto flurries back at the end, round for Antillon. Antillon won 3 rounds MAX, at no point did I see Antillon hurt Soto. Soto played the boxer beautifully, landing so many crisp headshots. Seriously what other boxer do you see that uses lateral movement like Soto. I love that move, duck right, left hook spin, duck left, right hand, spin ala Orlando Canizales. Reminds me why I like watching La Zorrita so dam much. ** Only thing interesting thing about this fight is the BS scores 115-112, and 114-113 114-113 REALLY?! All that tells me is is that Arum is using this Antillon guy as cannon fodder. He has no defense, no real power, but is all action and easy to hit.... No wonder they fed him to this Rios guy that everyone including me saw last night."
On TV Azteca they are showing it though... IF you want I'll upload you a Video... or something. BOX Azteca on TV Azteca today. FS Sports was unable to get Rights probably.
They showed on on TV AZTECA in Mexico only. But in the US they didnt. FOX SPORTS would rather show one of Humberto Soto's past fights, than a another Bob Arum FIXED FIGHT to help build a future Pac fight.
