    Round 1

Matellón is scoring with a stiff right jab off the hip every time Andrade comes sallying in behind the high left jab. Matellón also smacking Andrade with a quick right hook. Very obvious edge in both timing and power to Matellón. Andrade wobbled in the first ninety seconds, holding on, but still game & determined. Andrade taking home run swings up top with the 1-2 as Matellón ducks and counters with ramrod southpaw jabs on the breadbasket. Andrade darts in and out, body-feinting, and gets Matellón to put out a lazy jab, chopping past it with a counter right and grazing just before the bell.

    10-9 Matellón

Is there anyone currently active with more professional draws than Mayonesas?

I have no clue who Pedroza is actually but I’ve seen Soto twice (of which I remember neither appearance), once against Cesar Juarez in a build up fight for Juarez that ended with a TKO9 and he beat Julio Escudero on another Panamanian card I watched but I barely remember it. So yeah your lack of knowing who they are can be excused

    Round 2

Matellón now orthodox, sends Andrade into a corner with a series of power shots off the jab - hooks around the guard, uppercuts downstairs and straights down the pipe, brutal assault, finally making Andrade succumb via accumulation, slumping against the padded turnbuckle, and that is that!

    KO2!!

I think there’s many Pinoys with as many if not more draws.

Oh yeah, true. Six in the western hemisphere is a lot, though.

Matellón improves to 9-0-2 (5). Seems to have all the right tools, but they'll need to move him quickly if the plan is to get into contention; he's already 31 and that's old for a light flyweight, even if he did only debut in 2016 (meaning very little tread on his tires...unless he was a "perennial bridesmaid" amateur with hundreds of fights or something...)

Especially when you look at how it broke down for him. He drew three bouts in a row from May 2012 to June 2013 and had what I imagine was a really frustrating stretch of fights from 2010 to 2013 until he finally won a fight

Former world champ Jezreel "El Invisible" Corrales up next after the commercial break..

Kind of a star-studded card by domestic standards, really odd they wouldn't just shoehorn Chemito Moreno into this one instead of him being on a competing show elsewhere in the country..

A win and three losses by split decision, too.

note: this was originally scheduled to be a lightweight contest, but Corrales missed weight by 2½lbs...and Sierra missed it by 9½lbs!! (barely came in under the freaking welter limit, two divisions up..)

Think this is a replay of the earlier bout between Vicente and Pestana, which wasn’t bad to watch if you missed it
