I love how this isn’t an edited highlight package, so they’re just fast forwarding through the round breaks as we watch

Ah, nope, they flashed the wrong graphic onscreen before the commercial break.

    This match-up is:

Pablo Vicente vs. Luis Diaz Pestana, 8 rounds @ super featherweight

I was like "why the hell are they both starting orthodox? Aren't they both southpaws?? Also why don't I recognize Jezreel Corrales' face??"

Every single "B-side" opponent in the non-WBA Fedelatin title bouts on this card is Colombian: Victor Altamar, Onalvi Sierra, Eduardo Pacheco, Wilner Soto, and Machete Pestana.

I wonder if they all split a hotel room and plan on cruising around Panamá City picking up chicks, saying "hey baby, want to hang with the Glass Cannon Squad? We each blow our wads intensely...but quickly...but don't worry, then we can just tag in the next buddy and when it comes each man's turn in rotation again we should be recharged :D"

    Holy moly what an uppercut!

    Vicente KO3, really beautifully done.

Onalvi Sierra is actually no joke, as far as human punching bags imported from Colombia go. I remember he fought Andres "Jaguarcito" Gutiérrez some years ago in Mexico and gave a good accounting of himself.

10-9 Corrales, but El Invisible not having it all his way.

Some very messy, ugly interactions on the inside - regardless of whether both men are missing or landing.

Heavy overhand left by Corrales drops Sierra early in the second, after wobbling him with a right hook. Another massive left makes him face-plant with a loud thump less than a minute later, and his corner enters the ring waving a towel.

    KO2!!

This was Corrales' first outing since his KO loss to Alberto Machado in October 2017. So, yeah, nice to see he can still crack, and was able to shake off the rust after just one feel-out round...but, uh...where the **** do we rate the guy? He obviously isn't ever making super feather again, but...is he a lightweight? Even though he didn't make 135?

Everyone on the A-side has looked pretty good tonight except Leosdan, who probably needs to take a step back even after “winning” tonight

It’s hard to imagine him at junior welterweight, so if we’re to imagine him as a contender at all, we need to see if he can commit to making 135 IMO

I just can't reconcile myself with the idea of some jabroni coming along, ending Takashi Uchiyama's career...and then completely fizzling out himself.

This mother****er has to accomplish something. On principle. :sisi1

John Enrique Valencia López vs. Victor Alfonso Altamar Díaz, 6 rounds @ super featherweight

(pretty sure this is on tape-delay, as filler)

Rare you see an opponent with a comparatively prettier record than has the "house fighter"...

Altamar is 8-3 and has a wide UD over countryman Eduardo Pacheco (who got a more high-profile assignment versus Científico Núñez on this bill)... and wild-ass prospect Valencia is 3-1-3...
