Did this knucklehead really just get his gum shield knocked out and then IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIGHT turn his face downward and stare at the canvas looking for it like it was a goddamn contact lens and he was just in like to get some fro-yo!???!?!! :risas3::risas3::risas3:

Is this ending due to a headclash? That would be two fights in a row for Valencia, who’s last fight (which happened to be the main event of the last card he fought on if I’m not mistaken) also ended in a head clash. That one had gone 6 already though so it went to decision and ended in a draw.

Yeah, really confusing situation but I think homeboy literally headbutted the other dude's mouthpiece out/stunned him so badly he could not continue.

In that case I rescind my earlier post making fun of him, that's crazy.

I can’t tell what he’s looking for and I’ve rewatched it a few times now, but holy **** that was a horrible clash of beads lol Altamar was coming straight at Valencia with extra momentum from bouncing off the ropes. It seemed like the doctor was looking more at the eye than the mouth but hard to tell from the broadcast angle

I put this RBR thread up two hours ago...why has it remained just @Somachenko and I watching a card that features a former world champ (Jezreel Corrales), a guy that is almost mandatory to Gervonta Davis (Científico Núñez, rated WBA #2), and one more top-15 ranked undefeated prospect? (Matellón, #8 light flyweight, WBA) ...? :hang

WTF else do the rest of you have to do that's more interesting on a boxing forum on a Tuesday night? :dunno

I wasn't familiar with the person they were commemorating, but that was a nice tribute.

Our much anticipated main event (that in actuality was probably the 5th most anticipated fight on the card) has finally arrived

Easily less important or interesting on paper than Matellón vs. Andrade, Núñez Martínez vs. Ramírez, Núñez Pérez vs. Pacheco, and Corrales vs. Sierra, even if they were all mismatches. :deal:

This kid Pedroza better show us some real dragon's fire to justify being top of the bill over those far greater (or at least more proven to date) Panamanian luminaries.
