Has anybody given Soto a share, or is this heading for a shutout (less the point deduction for the low blow)?

 

This commentator has said "coochie-coochie" anytime somebody has gotten badly hurt tonight, and it cracks me up every time.

 

Soto looked ready to go late in the seventh, although probably more fatigued than anything.

 

Soto retires on his stool, or his corner pulls him.

Well, that's cool, we got to see all seven fights on the bill.

Now, we get to wait until next week (or maybe late May/early June) to find out what the results were on the Chemito Moreno card, when the local promoters get around to shooting BoxRec an email update...

 

Well, my Spanish comprehension isn't great when spoken at those speeds, but it sounded like the interviewer asked Pedroza to grade himself in different areas...he was proud of his offensive work but seemed to readily acknowledge that his defense wasn't too hot tonight. He says he needs to work on remaining "tranquilo".

So, at least he can be honestly self-analytical, that's a good sign, maybe he can improve with time and blossom into a real prospect...
