Szpilka is jabbing into the chest and very gingerly hooking the right around the guard of Guinn. Szpilka just toying with him at mid-range, not pressing the attack to push Guinn against the ropes, although the opportunity is presenting itself. Guinn seems arm-weary, standing pat in front of Szpilka, head snapping back from every flush jab. Szpilka remains cautious - working in and out with quick nettling southpaw jabs on the nose and then hooking very lightly off the jab, into Guinn's left ear. Guinn is back to running now, breaking into a lateral canter, right shoulder down for extra momentum like a linebacker. Szpilka reaching in to jab his face in pursuit, but not committing fully.

Round 8

Szpilka is jabbing or feinting, then nudging his bent lead right knee forward a bit, pointing it towards Guinn, performing nearly a full-body feint as if he were about to lunge in with a serious power combo - and Guinn just stands there and stares at him as Szpilka retracts into a jittery wobble standing in place and in fact does nothing. Guinn is picking off about half of Szpilka's jabs, then rest caressing his 5'o'clock shadow. Szpilka is caught momentarily by a short right hand and seems a tiny bit hurt, but then resumes circling and jabbing. Not it appears Guinn is hurt by a series of flush, stiff jabs from Szpilka - legs shaking unsteadily for just a moment. The moment passes. More circling, with Szpilka the only person throwing anything, just light jabs.

The one truly redeeming fight on the card ironically might be the one in which you had zero interest.

 

Round 9

Szpilka is jabbing high, then crossing low with his left - all the while forcing Guinn to retreat into the ropes, but never pouncing on him to "pin" him down once there. Guinn is just pushing out a weak left jab attempting to intercept some of Szpilka's right jabs more so than actually intending to score with it. Szpilka is waltzing in, landing a jab, quickly assembling his guard, bunny-hopping either outside in a straight line or diagonally, then posting up at Guinn's flanks and jabbing again. Szpilka boxing very scared, considering Guinn barely even seems awake.
