All Berto does is talk about going to clubs on his twitter account, ****er should be in the gym learning how to fight on the inside instead of just holding. If he keeps this up he's never going to improve and will lose when he steps up and fights the elite welters.
I like Berto but I don't sense hunger in him. I don't sense that he really wants a crack at the real linear welterweight champion, which I think is clearly Shane. If he really wanted it, he'd make concessions like all real challengers to real linear titles do, and must do. Berto likes his title. His title means something. Just not that he's *the* top welterweight. I'm not even sure he's an all-around top four. I can't see him being a top three as I don't think he'd beat Clottey, Cotto or Mosley at all.
I have to agree on that. He would vehemently be calling out all the other title holders if he really wanted to be the true WW champ. If he had one third of Bradley's hunger for greatness we would've been counting the days for a unification fight right now.
