i was always taught to just bend at the waste and a little at the knees to slip, but clinton woods claims to turn his feet like hes throwing hooks and crosses. Have you ever seen this technique before?

it starts at 45 seconds in.

yeah it allows you to stay in better balance and you can counter easier off of it.

I'm pretty sure you can get the exact same effect from just moving your head side to side without the use of your whole body, it wastes energy. I'm no expert though.

I move my feat too, it's the way you balance the shift in weight. Whenever I teach someone new, I say "all boxing really is, is this" and I turn side to side on my toes. Staying in that position allows you to be ready to throw or step out in proper position.

How the hell do you move your head without moving your body? Bend your neck to the side? So far we have you talking about Kenyans making the best boxers and how aerobic exercise is the best thing for every sport, you can't believe boxers don't show that they are hurt and now you can move your head without moving your body?
According to xRedx we are all aerobic turtles.

my bad, I meant you can achieve the same effect by just moving your upper body (waist up). My mistake.

When He counters He is moving His Feet, otherwise theres no Balance, He has to go back to where He started. This was noticeable, later in His career, when He stopped moving His Feet, bacause they were to wide He got Hit and couldnt counter.

Twisting the feet helps maintain balance and loads you up for the counter. You don't have to do it but it's unquestionably better.

I get what you're saying but if you just use your upper body you're only using it as a defensive move, you're not in a position to attack or counter. If you use your feet it puts you in a position to punch at all times.
