Twitter comments on Cotto-Cheato HBO Face off

Cotto will be purely looking to outbox him but I think Margarito will get to him. It all depends on whether his punches have as much of an effect on Cotto as they did when he had plaster of paris in them. Cotto might be able to whether the rough patches and outbox him enough to get a decision.

Cotto will win the early rounds, but Margaritos chin and intense stamina will see him coming on strong, and i see him stopping Cotto late again.

Margarito didn't have plaster in his gloves for the first fight. Second will be no different. Cottos been in more wars and that will show.

Well Margaritos punches clearly busted Cotto up with the plaster of paris intact so without it we would have to think that Margarito won't be busting him up as much. Cotto is a tough **** himself so I expect him to whether the rough patches but if Margaritos punches are having a bad effect on him we might see him break down and quit again.

 

I think Margo wins again maybe even more comfortably. I don't think cotto can match the work rate and has looked a lot poorer than he did in the first fight. I can't see him knocking Margo out either.

Margo was considering retirement after the Pac fight. He's being banged up twice (Mosley and Pac) since fighting Cotto.

So yeah the styles to do favour Margo but we don't know how much he has left. And Manny Steward will be a massive factor for Cotto IMO.

Margarito is nowhere near the same fighter he was. Mosley broke that chin and he looked weak to the body against Pac.

 

Really would love for Cotto to do it but he hasn't got the attributes to pull off something like Pac or Mosley done in my opinion. Cotto is going to be in front of him all night again, even against Pac and Shane, Margarito was still going about his usual plan of trying to walk through them throwing everything at them. The difference in the fights is while Marg was chasing shadows against Pac, Cotto will be there taking them and getting his own off.

Steward will have done some great work with Cotto but when he gets in there with Marg i think it will be just like the 1st fight.

 

You're correct he didnt, he just decided to use them in a fight were he was 1-7 fav. Coming off his best win of his career, against a bloke who looked shot to **** V Mayorga. :good
