At ****ing last, nailed on the money. Cotto had never been a big bleeder before that night. He got a nick late aginst Mosley, and a very smal one, bled badly from the mouth against Zab. Add to the fact the cheat barley laid a glove on him till round 7, Cotto looked like a rottweiler had been having a go at him. The cheat doesnt throw shots correct there is no snap in the shots, he couldnt hurt or mark Garcia. Mosley said Cotto hit him harder than the cheat

 

I think Cotto got carried away with how much success he was having hitting Margo's head around. How often do you get presented with a target like that?

Also, he was enjoying showing off his skills, moving and slipping punches - he got cocky. So he neglected the body attack, especially when Antonio started throwing uppercuts.

He'd burned up so much energy in the first six rounds that he didn't have enough in the tank. He lost 6,7, 8 and 9, nearly won 10 and then got clocked again.

I agree but I've never seen Cotto lacking so much strategy and being so emotional in his approach. Cotto was always cold and systematic.
